Registrant Law is looking to expand its roster of contract securities lawyers.
About the engagement:
Contract lawyers may be called up when there is a project, to determine if the lawyer has interest and capacity to engage in the project.
Projects could include providing legal advice to investment fund managers, investment advisers, or investment dealers on securities laws, negotiation and drafting of documentation, interpretation of securities and regulatory laws, and reviewing sales marketing materials.
Contract lawyers would be employees of Registrant Law only for the duration of the project.
Ideally 7+ years of experience practicing corporate and securities law, with a focus on asset management, portfolio management or investment dealer services, obtained at a law firm, financial institution or wealth or asset management firm.
You have experience providing legal support to investment advisers, investment fund managers, or investment dealers and can independently provide legal support on major projects in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
